The novel, Kiss the Girls, was actually the second of Patterson’s with the first being Along Came a Spider (which saw its way to the screen in 2001). Though the books/movies aren’t really in any sort of chronological order, each stands on its own. Kiss The Girls was a very good read. As usual, there was good depth of character (Kate) which can actually make you care for the characters. The plot was original, off beat, thrilling and carefully thought out with the usual twists and turns. I also love Patterson's writing style.
